WHO: Teachers looking for a laid back, productive, and free day of professional development.
HOW: Register online at https://sites.google.com/site/edcampohio/registration
WHEN: April 23, 2016 at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center (NCOESC) in Tiffin, OH
I am happy to be co-hosting EdCamp Ohio again this year! Last year we had around 50 educators from a variety of cities in Ohio come join us, and we hope to have many more this year! If you are tired of the same old professional development workshops you’ve been going to for years, I highly recommend you check out the EdCamp movement. These (un)conferences feature a list of sessions that is created by the participants the morning of the event. At the beginning of the day, participants discuss what they would like to know more about or what they are using in their schools that works. Then as the session moves on, participants sign up on the presentation board on when and where they will speak on a topic. These events also feature many sponsors, but are free from having vendor areas where you are trying to be sold on a product.
I am looking forward to co-hosting this event again and would enjoy meeting some of my readers if you can make it! Hope to see you there!
